What do you think about men and sewing (or tailoring)? Does it make men less masculine?

"Wings of Isis": really pretty, but I can't seem to find a pattern or anything that specifies how to construct them. It seems pretty simple (two big 1/4 or 1/3 circles) with dowels about 1/2 diameter attached from the ends going inwards, and something to attach them at the shoulder or neck to the body.

However, I don't want to just run out and spend all the money making a pair only to find out I've done it wrong and wasted the money! I'd buy a real pair, but the cost for a good pair seems to be $100-$200, and I can't really spring for that.

Tips or links greatly appreciated - if you can get me an actual link to to a pattern or something, I'll totally give you 10 pts!

Ok i am making a GIANT pillow and i want to do it fast!
any way i can "sew" the edges together without actually sewing or tieing....i was thinking of stapling because it would be SUPER fast, not very "professional" but it would probably work because it is inside out and u wouldn't see the staples but.....ANY IDEAS?

I just can't figure it out. all the books say to cut some peices with a lining, but how do i attatch the lining? the clothes that i looked at for reference had both sides folded over ( like at a hem) and then the folded (bad) sides were sewn together. but that didn't really work and i'm very lost....

I would like to market them and possibly give some of the proceeds to Cancer Research as this charity is very dear to me. I wouldn't know where to start to market my cards. I am starting to build a portfolio and am able to make personalised cards for any occasion in any name. If anyone could help me I would be very grateful and make them a card!!

Many thanks
