I just bought a Thomas Kinkade snowglobe for my mother for christmas from musicboxattic.com, I notice when I got it that there is like a quarter size amount of water missing from it, is this normal, or is it suppose to be filled with water completely??

It IS NOT suppose to be filled to the top. The one you have is perfectly fine. That little air space allows room for you to shake the items that are inside, allowing them to flow gently to the bottom. A snow globe that is filled to the top has been incorrectly filled.

I think they are suppose to be filled to the top but, you can't just fill it up on your own. And I live in Minnesota and I only know of one person about 40min away from me who fixes them. But, I think that is only after the globe gets broken somehow. I think it should be fine. But, you could always ask if you can exchange it.
