I am wanting to screen print t-shirts for a school fundraiser, and I have fabric ink, but is it enough to just let them dry, or do they HAVE to be heat set? If so, what are some ideas if I don't have the proper equipment.

im a playgroup leader and next weeks activity ive organised the kids to make fabric painted t shirts!, theyr already labelled and on hangers, but i know it says you have to pre wash fabric before you paint it,
im going to paint each kids name on them before they paint them, but i really cant b bothered to wash them first, as ive only got 2 days before we go to playgroup.

they are plain white tshirts, if we paint them before theyv ever been washed will the paint wash off or peel?

thanks

If you see a penny on the ground do you pick it up? What about a nickel; a dime; a quarter? Is lost change worth picking up to you?

Any craft ideas for elderly? My mother visits the nursing home every Saturday and does crafts with the elderly. She has ran out of ideas and would like some suggestions. Please remember that they cannot use their hands that well or work with really small objects. We only are allowed to be there for an hour and a half, so something that doesn't take a lot of time.

I have several paper & cloth documents/maps/etc.. that my grandfather left behind from WWII, I'd like to have two of them preserved but not sure where to look for something like this. They are in perfect condition and i'd like to keep them that way.

A Confederate $100 bill was recently discovered amongst old family papers and I am interested in it's potential value. It is signed and dated August 20, 1862, with no stamps on the back and a depiction of slaves hoeing cotton at the top of the front. There are slight creases on the corners, specifically the top left, but otherwise in pristine condition.

I've been to Michaels and Walmart and searched the internet for two hours ... all I've found was a hollowed ball - "smoothfoam" - which might work except it's $48.00. That's way too much! It's for a Halloween costume's head piece. Any ideas?

What can they -can't they be painted on? I have seen tempera paint sold as a powder, and like the idea of just making enough to use. Does acrylic paint come in a concentrate like that too? The just add water kind. What brands are trustworthy for kids to work with?
