I don't want it to be super complicated, but my head would be like out of the drink hole and I'd have arm holes

Id try the posterbord idea - its flexable enogh to wrap around. For the top id use a heavy cardbord- with a hole large enough for your head- it can rest on your shoulders comfortably if you glue some heavy foam under it - id also suggest doing some light reinforcing , specially around the arm holes with cardbord and a 'ring' of more cardbord around the bottom, but with a larger hole to move your legs easily. Staples and glue should be able to hold the costume together - remember, itll be easier to paint the costume when its flat then on the round surface - id use poster paint or ordinary latex interior paint - just small containers tho. Id just wear a long sleeved shirt that matches the color on that side of the can - i wouldnt waste time using makeup, the can costume is enough.
Dont make it too large , where you cant walk or put it in a vehicle

I'll expand on leah's answer a little bit. Use a big piece of flexible cardboard (or posterboard), laying it flat draw out the logo of the can on the posterboard. paint. Paint a cicle of posterboard or cardboard silver for the top of the can. After the paint dries, staple the ends together forming the circular shape. Staple suspenders or some strips of material to the inside the go over your shoulders and hold it up. Paint your face silver (or maybe orange for orange soda, purple for grape soda) then have someone attach the silver cordboard to the top with clear duct tape (so that you can pull the top off by yourself later). thats it... Oh, don't forget the arm holes. For this, you need to "fake assemble it" with out permanently attaching anything, try it on to see about where the arm holes need to be, then cut those out.

I'm not sure this site has a coke can costume or not. If it is available, you'll find it here. If not, you might find something you like better. Hope you find something !

Well, if you don't know how to make it yourself, then it can't be "really simple" now, can it?
