have never used a mold before and I would like to know what the best brand is and do they show all of the textures, can you re-use them over and over or do they have to be bakes or something to make them stay hard?

Have you ever been to a cake decorating store? They have a vast array of inexpensive molds available. There is a mold for candy bar, of course it doesn't say " Hershey " because that would be a copyright infringement. I believe I even saw mold for candy corn. The molds can be used over and over again. They cost so little, it's not worth the trouble to make a mold that won't hold up. Check the yellow pages to find a store in your area. The clay suggested above is not food safe,

If it is a hard thing, like the candy corn, there is something you can buy at Michaels. It's in the isle with the clay. You get this, mix two equal parts of it (it also looks like clay) then you press what you want in it. You let it set-up and you can use it more than once. I think it's also a big flexable once it's set-up too.

craft stores...sculpty....soften with your hands and then press object into it and remove it and bake the mold. then use the mold to make the objects. use again, sculpty ...soften and then press it into the molds you made, but first dust the mold with corn starch or baby powder so it does not stick together, then bake your pieces. you can paint it if you want
