A while ago there was a project floating around for making a fake aquarium. The liquid would solidify like glue but it would still be clear so that it would appear the fish (or whatever) would be floating in a fish bowl, without the mess and or smell of real fish. Does anyone know what that product is?

I was looking through some spare change acouple weeks ago,
And stumbled upon this very odd coin.

I don't think its American because it has no date or any writing for that matter.

Well to discribe the coin,
It is copper,
And on one side it has what looks like some kind of palace,
With four almost round towers at the top,
Then a small gate at the bottom of this “palace”.

On the other side,
It has what looks like...
I honestly have no idea.
The best i can describe it,
Is a shriveld up wagon wheel.
It almost looks like theres a peace symbol at the top.

So if ANYONE has information or know what this coin is and how much its worth.

-THANKS :D

I have been wanting to wrap a crystal without wire to make a necklace. I know that sinew can be used, but i have none, and am unsure how to get ahold of any, and to be honest, not really sure what to do if i got some. Does anyone know a substance other than wire or sinew that could be used to effectively wrap a crystal that wont come apart (so like no string) or how to wrap a crystal using sinew, and wherei could find some, or a webste with all of that ainformation? Thank you in advance for your wonderful answers.

Anybody here geocache? Have you found any interesting caches? How long have you been caching? My mother and I have been at it for less than a year. It's so much fun. Our best one so far was by the entrance of the freeway. It was a huge plastic tub full of travel bugs. If you want to know what it is head to geocaching.com.

I've been trying to buy a wrist brace slingshot in Greater Vancouver without success. I can only seem to find them on ebay and from sellers in the US (none from Canada.) Are slingshots even legal in Canada/BC and are they legal to import? I tried finding out on the RCMP page and the Border info pages but no dice. Please help! Thanks

It can be your design or something from your website: I just need to know how, or if you don't know how, then I'd like to know some of the things that influences the flight.

I'll make and test every type of airplane that I find here. The one that flies the farthest (or the post with the most helpful information) will get Best Answer.

I have an old japanese teapot and am trying to identify who made it. The only marking on it is a stamp on the bottom. Is there a name for those stamps on dishes or are they just calle d"dish stamps" or something generic like that?

I already have a Washington and an Adams, which I got as change for buying stamps at the Post Office vending machine. I don't need any more stamps, though. It seems nobody uses these coins as currency, at least in the Washington, DC area, where you'd think they'd be in wide circulation.

When you are just going to sew them back together again? I've never done any quilting but I recently received a bunch of jeans and thought I might try making a denim quilt. But all the instructions say to cut the backing apart first. Wouldn't it be easier just to sew the squares to the backing? Most of the patterns I saw said not to use batting, so that wouldn't be in the way...

You know those small plastic loops that attach the tags on new clothing? What are those called and where can I get them? I'm talking about the loops where one end has a cone shape and goes into a hole on the other end and locks (or similar), NOT those short plastic strings that have a "T" on either end, one skinny, one fat, where one end goes into the clothing and one end goes through the tag.

we're having a contest at work. we have a cubby where a couple people sit. a girl at my work is going to make a cardboard entrance that's painted like bricks. she is going to attach the yellow "caution" tape to the front. she also wants to make it dark and scary inside. i guess she also has a smoke machine. what i'm looking for in answers, is award-winning decorating or just EXTREMELY creative and sweet ideas for decorating this area. we WANT to win.

I bought the Nicole Crafts one yesterday and today it is already putting out slivers of metal from the gears or blades into my clay. I want to buy a new one since my daughters love using it, but I would like to research it a little better this time!
