You know those small plastic loops that attach the tags on new clothing? What are those called and where can I get them? I'm talking about the loops where one end has a cone shape and goes into a hole on the other end and locks (or similar), NOT those short plastic strings that have a "T" on either end, one skinny, one fat, where one end goes into the clothing and one end goes through the tag.

I would say contact a store, like Wal-Mart, because I used to work there and we put the loops onto clothing.

The thrift store that I used to work at got these from an office supply store. They weren't cheap............but I don't remember where. The clear ones with an almost "beaded" appearance of the string between the point at one end and the cone at the other.........look for a store that carries retail supplies at wholesale prices - possibly Sam's Club or Costco?

A similar product is more widely available in hardware stores and automotive supply stores. It is described as being what you would use to tie wire bundles together - there are different sizes and colors. I've seen those in a lot of stores with an automotive or hardware section.

Secur-a-Tach® & Secur-a-ties® are one of the brands that make what you are looking for they are called merchandise fasteners. You can get them at almost any fabric store. You might even be able to find then in the fabric/ craft section of walmart. Good luck.
