I am running out of time to find this item, and I have checked all the local stores.( Walmart ,Meijer, etc) They only carry small ones. Someone told me to check an art store. Does anyone know which specific store carries the larger sized sketch pads?

I had a bunch of wedding invitations all ready to mail, and I spilled coffee all over them! well, I reprinted the envelopes, and I want to re-use the stamps because I have almost $7 worth of postage there. How do I attach the stamps once they are soaked and dried? Not with tape, how about a staple? or double-sided tape?

Does anyone know a website where I could locate a store or even order off a website those teddies which you can put a personalised recorded message inside, or even a song of choice to play when the teddy's hand is pushed or something?

I don't know if anyone understands what I mean, but I can't find them anywhere. I know they exist though. Please help me find how to make a personalised teddy with a message.

i bought a brother xl-3510 sewing machine and its nice and all... and a neighbor of mine offered me her janome sewist-905, apparently 350 retail price and she got it for 150 on sale. now i bought the brother at about 150, and im wondering whether i should get the janome and sell the brother machine?? i havnt used it much, but i like that it has more decorative stitches than the janome.. however ive heard good things about janome. i am a senior in high school, pretty experienced sewer and i hope to go to FIT for fashion design, so i want to have a good durable, portable machine to lug around, that can help me with whatever more projects ill have in the future... should i keep my brother or buy the janome?

I've been watching the History channel and I wish to make a compound bow ( The one that looks like a "B" using old world ingredients, no carbon fiber or fiberglass, just wood and whatever else was available). Does anyone have any instructions or know where to get instructions to make one?

It is boxed and on the inside it has printed on the cloth The American Historical Society. I know it isn't worth but what silver is going for at the time I sell. But If there is any one who may have some other info about it it would be helpful. It looks just like a $100 bill but silver it was done in 2000 and states one troy pound. It is .999 fine silve. It is also numbered 2945. not that this means anything. It doesnt say 2945 of a certian number. I got it from my grandfathers house after he passed. He had left me all his coins because he knew i was a collector and he left me this. Just trying to find out more about it and if it maybe worth anything. Thanks in advance for your answers.

I probably should have done the research before breakin' out the scissors. Most patterns call for an at least 6" square. Oops...

Any other tips for a denim quilt?

I am not looking for something elaborate. Just a simple pattern that i can knit in white for the day. I like feminine things, and have a soft spot for lace. I have not yet decided if I want a long or short dress, so all suggestions welcome.

I would be happy with links to patterns, free or not, as long as there are pictures. I would also be happy with book suggestions, particularly if there is somewhere online where i can see pictures of the patterns in the book. Bonus points if you have knit the pattern yourself, and double bonus points for pictures of how it turned out.

I was thinking of making a pendant from a few different materials. I was thinking, to make sure they do not float to the surface, that I try and glue them down. Would epoxy resin make elmers glue become "wet" and white again?

Over the months I have compiled loads of stuff we've done together like concert tickets, photos, cinema tickets etc etc and I want to do something with them as a memory for him, but what? I thought maybe in a scrap book but there's probably not enough to fill it, so a photo frame but Im not overly keen on the idea, just a piece of card with them stuck on it? Im not sure, what do you think? xx

Do you just knot it a couple of times? For example, I am making a sock monkey, and I am not sure how to end the line of thread. Thanks a lot!

How can you tell if the old silver dollars are real? I have 2 1798 "Heraldic Eagle Reverse" and 2 1799. I have a 1886 morgan, I have an "1906 Ellis Island" silver dollar, and i found out they were commentative coins made in 1986. Someone made the 8 into a 0. I have 2 1864 liberty seated silver dollars. I have a 1876 trade dollar,an 1851 indianhead dollar, I can't find that one in the "red book" so I figure it is fake. I mean I bought them cheap. Not cheap but for the price that that coins would be worth if they are real, it was cheap. I went to a dealer and walking up to him probably still 7 feet away, I said I wanted to know if these silver dollars I have are fake, and immediately, he said yep. 7 feet away without looking at them. So I don't 100% really know. Everyone says if it is to good to be real.....but they is still a chance that they are.
