I am running out of time to find this item, and I have checked all the local stores.( Walmart ,Meijer,etc) They only carry small ones. Someone told me to check an art store. Does anyone know which specific store carries the larger sized sketch pads?

Michael's carries them and you should also be able to find them at Hobby Lobby. If you have a locally owned supply store, it should be available there as well. You can also order them from Utrecht.

Hobby Lobby and Michaels carries a variety of sketch pads, even larger than you are looking for.

In California, I've found them at Aaron Brothers Art Mart and at my local LONGS Drugs !!
YES, 11"x14", not the 8.5" x 11".

Look in the fine arts dept. in any large craft store. This kind of pad is where the oil paints and such are sold. It is readily available.
