Okay so i have a few questions....
Those blankets with the cool "twistie" ends, where do you get the fabric to make em'
Why does it cost SO much to get a personalized blanket, with photo?
And why can't someone make me an eminem blanket, like where would that type of fabric, wit his pic on it be? or would i have to get it customized? It's like 100 dollars, and im not sure if that's what i want... Also does anyone know how to make those blankets where you buy the fabric, cut it and twist the ends... A lot of people have em' it seems like..
Thanks for REAL answers and plesae be positive!

I've made a vest/waistcoat for myself before, but I've lost the pattern and I don't want to buy another one (not for cost reasons). Where can I find some free patterns to make a vest/waistcoat that ends just above or at the belt?

I am amazed with people who can make a dull topic appear interesting by using their own writing skills. :)

I'm giving mini wine bottles as favors for my dad's surprise 60th birthday party; does anyone know any good sites where I can find those personalized diamond shaped tags. I can't seem to find any.

OR
Does anyone know how I can do it myself? I was on the Avery site looking at their products but I can't seem to locate tags that I can personalize myself-thanks!

I make cute purses and bags. It's a fun hobby of mine, and I would really like to sell them. I've done 2 craft shows, and they have been good experiences, but not very profitable.

My bags are getting nicer and nicer with each one I make--I keep learning new little tricks. Oh, and I make up my own designs--no patterns here.

I have a neat old dress dummy, a pretty little t-stand, and a post (a 4 x 4 painted, dressed up) to display my bags. I also have a "bargain basket."

My plan is to keep hitting craft shows, but so far the ones I've done have not been very good. (Nobody's really moving a ton of stuff; not a huge number of exceptional items.)

I'd really like to do some bag parties where people can "design" a bag that I'd make for them.

I'd appreciate any constructive feedback and advice on being successful at selling bags, interesting displays, where to find really inexpensive yet hip and cool fabrics and other bag supplies, etc.

Thanks so much!!
I also posted this in "crafts."

I finally figured out how to make a polymer clay bead to look like lampwork glass beads. I make focal beads with my clay and use it in my jewelry.

I have always made photo albums but have recently been considering scrapbooking.

What types of tools and materials do I need? How do I do it, and can it be inexpensive?
If you have any examles, that would be great.

Thanks.

Hi, I have a silver penny from I believe the 1800's, and am just wondering how much it costs or is worth. It's not the copper one, that one is f-in 40,000 dollars, but how much is the silver one? Thanks. Another one I found is some silver dollar from 1867, with a queen on one side, and an eagle (not goose) on the other, thanks.

it all in the garbage. Items like cards, banks, statues, ornaments, books, etc. I don't think anyone would buy a cat pez dispenser on ebay and it wouldn't be worth the mailing price. What should I do with it all? It's making me sick thinking of trashing it.

I am printing out some cross stitch patterns from PCStitch (http://www.pcstitch.com/) as a gift for a friend. For you cross-stitchers out there, is it easier to read a pattern if it is spread out among a bunch of 8 1/2 x 11 double-sided sheets of paper bound in a notebook, or if it's printed out on a large (say, 11x17) sheet of paper that is laid out on a table? I want to know what would be more convenient to work from.

Thanks!

Hi, I don't want to make this shirt, but I love the lace with the black. I want to make a bag like that. How would I saw on white crochet patterns onto my bag (if you can do this w/ fabric please tell me how to, cause I'm sure it doesnt matter if its fabric on a shirt or a purse) (because the white part is so thin...I'm not sure how they do it perfectly.

A previous owner has damaged the cork in the bottle, and left cotton thread lying on the sea, also the masts need a little straightening. I do not have the necessary skills or tools to do this job, but hope that somebody who either makes them or sells them can help me.
