Value of bank of montreal coin?

Hello everyone!!! i have a question...I was wondern if anyone knew what the value of a 1844 bank of montreal coin in good condition is??? I hear they are rare...But i dont know..Plz reply!! thx

Without seeing pictures it's very difficult for anyone to give you a good answer. A lot depends on the condition of your coin.

1 - Take your coin to a other local coin dealer. It never hurts to get a second opinion. They will be able to tell you so much more by evaluation the condition of the coin. They will also know the amount minted and what it is going for in today's market.

2 - Try posting pictures on this website (there are many experts here that can help you evaluate it - there also may be people willing to buy if you are trying to sell):

It is not a coin but a token and should have the value of 1/2 penny.As colonial Canadian tokes go it is not a very rare one. In circulated grades they sell for $4 and up to about $20 in high circulated grades. It is cataloged as Haxby 211. Hope this helps. This is the best I can do with out a photo or scan.
