Most string art is only geometric shapes. Is there any way I could do one that isn't, like making flames or something? Thanks in advance!

When my ex-husbands mom died his step dad (my daughters grandfather) took some of the flowers from her funeral and had beads made from the petals of the dried flowers. His daughter and each of the 2 granddaughters got bracelets made from them. They are beautiful. Then this summer my daughter and her aunt went hunting for four leaf clovers(my daughter and her aunt are both 12 her mom is the one who died) and found a bunch Grandpa dried them out and had bracelets made for them again. I have asked him how they are made but he doesn't know so my question is does anyone know how to make them? My thought was the petals were ground up in maybe a food processor then worked into polymer clay and baked to harden. Has anyone ever done this before? Please let me know thanks!! I just think this is a special way to preserve memories and I would love to be able to do it myself.

i was on youtube today, and i watch this mini tv series... emo rangers.
i want to make a short tv show series with my friends.. but i don't know what about.
and by the way... it doesn't matter how many actors it takes.. i always seem to find away.. and we love makeup.. and dressing up.. the best part....
i was thinking about making fun of a baby show or something.... you know... kinda like emo rangers.. but not exactly... and keep the special effects to a minimum preferrably... too poor for a lot of props.
soooo.. any ideas? (it will go on youtube... not a real television show)

I am an 18 year old college freshman and am interested in beginning collecting holiday postcards (specifically halloween and christmas). I have other interests that people my age have, but I also enjoy collecting postcards. Do you think this is weird?

I have a pattern for a puppet that I have created. It is my own design. I was wondering where I might sell this design or if I should even.

I used certain equipment to make it, so I could aproach the manufacture of the equipment and see if they want to buy my pattern. Or I could put together a video instruction CD and sell it on EBay or some like place. Or I could just keep it to myself.

Also how do I get my pattern copy righted?

Please give me your thoughts, ideas and advice.

Oh, almost forgot, the puppet pattern is a hand puppet with a moving mouth and is of professional quality and easy to make.

I received an email about an offer for a tailsman. I have never really heard of them, but, am intriqued. I cannot see how a piece of metal is anything but a piece of metal. Anyone have testimonies on if these work or do not work?

My grandfather has been passing things on to his children and grandchildren, and my father managed to get an 1855 Quarter Eagle from the deal. It didn't take me long to figure out what it was thanks to wikipedia, but I'm unable to find any site that can give me the approximate value. He's not going to sell it, but we're both just sorta curious as to how much it would go for.

Also, I didn't get a chance to check what mint it was from, but I'll just assume that it was from the most common mint (unmarked).

I have been designing tapestries for a few months now and just started to sell. My confidence is a little down, however, as they are not the usual things you see around. I would love some feedback...(photography needs improving)
