Or else do you know of any books that are good for beginners?

Are these for an adult, little kid, or older kid to make? I've used this website: http://www.craftbits.com/viewCategory.do?categoryID=XMS for children's crafts but they have some that are adult appropriate as well. The big craft stores have free flyers in the craft supply area for making specific craft items. I've seen really nice glass etching done on inexpensive glass ball ornaments but that's an adult only project as you use chemicals to do the etching.

Any craft store sell the material for Christmas ornaments and you can also get instructions for them. Visit Michales.com and they offer classes as well.

What kind of ornaments are you looking to make? There are so many that to find instruction it would help to know what you are looking for.

Also craft stores have all kinds of do it yourself ornaments, un finished ornaments and ornament kits.

There are glass ones, quilted ones, cross stitch, wooden ones, polyresin, photoframes etc etc.
