I have found that most places that do this are in the west, (alot in Texas), but there should be some here in the Northeast. I am located in Connecticut. Any good ideas or experiences? Metro New York area would be perfect!! Thanks,,,

I am a beginner knitter and have a hard time staying consistant (which I realize comes with practice), and the yarn falls off my fingers and I have to constantly adjust and rewrap the yarn. I am a continental knitter thus far and am using the method of wrapping that the lady on knittinghelp.com uses (around the pinky, up under my ring and middle finger and then half a wrap around the index finger). I have a mental picture of a ring "gizmo" that fits over the index or middle finger that actually would hold the tension of the yarn for me without all of the wrapping of the pinky and other fingers. Does something like this exist? Side note: I did find knitting thimbles and yarn guides, but these seem to mainly be used to seperate the yarns when using multiple yarns at one time. Any help would be much appreciated.

Here's my deal. I am making my own wedding invitations and I found some scrapbook paper that I LOVE! The only problem is that I can't find it in the quantity I need (50 12x12 sheets). I called the manufacturer and they suggested that I find a local scrapbook store that will order it wholesale for me. I have called the local places and everyone seems to be too busy to even take my phone call. Is there anyone who can help me with this? Or any advice on how to order scrapbook paper wholesale? Any advice will help!

What kind of amusing ways can I count down that may make time go by a bit faster? Last time I made one of those paper link chains where each paper link represented one day. On each link I had a little task that I had to complete for that particular day. If you think that is a good idea to do again, the what kind of things could I put on the links of the chains? Or what should I do to have an amusing, and hopefully quick countdown until I can see her beautiful face again?

My sister is going through some financial hardships right now...she has a sesame street cookie tin copyright 1979, muppets incorporated...it's a christmas scene. I am trying to sell it for her so she can have a little $, can you help me find a price for this item, or do you know a site or something I can go to...it would help sooooooo much, as I can't find even a general estimate, I've been to ebay (which is where I'll probably sell it) and searched the web from everything from collectible tins - to - copyright 1979 sesame street cookie tin. Please help!

Where do the people who sell scrapbooking stuff on ebay get it from? Because they get shippings 3-4 times a week and they dont have to pay very much. Is there a warehouse, so that they can get that many namebrand things? Because if there isnt then they wouldnt make very much money off of ebay because that stuff is really expensive.

Thanks for you answers =)

I'm not a collector or know anything really about dolls but while looking to purchase a good quality, life-like baby doll, I noticed the term "reborn" dolls especially the brand Berenguer. What are reborn dolls?

Everyday seems to be the same the more i try to do something different it just seems exactly the same.
What i want is some kind fo hobby to keep me busy all the time and keep me out of trouble.

i dont mind what hobby you suggest (anything will do)
something a little bit interesting with a bit of flava is all i am looking for... Can anybody suggest anything other than stamp collecting to keep me in the mood al day long and keep my mind active to keep me amused. I realise my own potential and dont want to miss out for sake of nothing whilst losing nothing. What do you suggest please. (any suggestions acceptable) The more the better and the more to keep me happy.

I have been trying to sew stretchy material but every time I sew the threads just bobble on the surface instead of creating a neat line of sewing. I don't think it is a problem with my machine because it is brand new. I have sewn before but never with stretchy material. My mum suggested that I buy a specific needle for stretchy material. Do you think this will solve the problem or is there something else I should be doing as well.
