My daughter has Girlscout camp in a couple of weeks and we have to make 100 exchanges. These are little trinkets the girls trade with each other. Usually they are pins that they can pin to their sashes or hat, etc. Our's have to be movie themed. I originally thought of buying the tiny boxes of Dots and Milk Duds and hot gluing pens on the back. The girls get to eat the candy and have a 'movie candy' pin for teh exchanges. Guess what! They don't sell the tiny boxes this time of year.

Any ideas? I'm generally quite creative but I'm stumped on this one! The movie theme just won't come for me!

Help!

I wanted to find something that I would be able to cut out of cardboard, and then I wanted to put money on the "strings", for a gift.
My only problem is finding a template, can anyone help?
Thank you.

I cannot find the fabric I need. I'm looking for glittery-chiffon...how can I do this myself?

What could you use to wet and sticky the fabric so the shaken glitter would stay, but would completely dry afterward...

Is this possible?
I've been trying to find shimmery glittery chiffon in light blue, but I can't!

I have a Lincoln penny, dated 1974, with an odd inscription of someones face (looks like Kennedy) just to the right of the Lincoln bust, on the "heads" side of the penny. Anyone ever hear of this?

I need to make a dress out of lots of little pieces of fabric. I still have a lot of time, but I cant think of a fabric to use. I dont want to have to stitch each bit so it doesnt fray as it would take too long. The only option I see now is felt or maybe velvet. Does anyone have another idea or any tips? Thanx!

I bought my daughter a blanket that is a piece of cotton and a piece of flannel sewed together with ric-rac in the middle. How would I go about making a blanket like this? Oh and any suggestions of something similiar for a boy, but more masculine than ric-rac? Help. I really want to learn to sew these.

I am painting wine glasses using vinyl to mask the wording. I'm using white Pebeo porcelaine paint. But when I take the vinyl off to reveal the wording, it peels the paint off with it.

-Is there something I can do to stop this happening?
-Would a surface prep help?
-Is there a better way of doing this?

(There are too many letters to paint freestyle)

I bought scrapbooking stuff, and I assumed it was to rub on quotes. I tried rubbing it, and scratching, and everything. So it's definitely NOT what I thought it was.

I just bought a P-61 Black widow 1:48 scale Revell plastic model, I noticed that the base color for all of the parts is a gloss black, im wondering, would I go ahead and re-spray the whole model black, or just leave it be and not re-spray the black parts because the models base color already is black?

I have also been advised that it's good to soak the parts in mild detergent water, for better painting. I am wondering if any other model builders out there do this and I am wondering for how long they soak the parts, and how much detergent they use to make the mix.

hi. i was wondering if anyone knows of any site where i can order a photo stamp booth for my daughter's 1st bday party. Hopefully, you know what i'm talking amout. It's like a photo booth, but instead of pictures, it makes rubber stamps (or something) of ur picture. I dunno if it's discontinued or what. This used to be popular when I was in high school like in '98-'99. Don't know if they still have these. Just thought i'd ask in case anyone knows. I live in Hawaii so i'm not sure there's a service like that here. I know u can get sticker picture machines. But not sure if they still make photo stamp booths anymore and if so, if i could use one for a party. Before you could only get this at the mall.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. No thanks to any wise@ss answers. thanks :)
