I'm wanting to make a baby blanket for my friend. I've got a yard of fleece fabric. I was going to fray the edges and tie it, but the fabric lady said the baby could choke on the ties. I need an idea for a simple blanket that isn't harmful to the baby.

I'm making a striped scarf, and i'm knitting it on circular needles and making it a tube. when i go to add the colors for the scarf i just grab the yarn and start knitting i don't tie it. When i look back on my stripe where i added it is uneven. Is there anyway to make it an even stripe, or since it is a tube will it always be this way?

I found the lamp kit on Ebay, so all I need now is the base, and the lampshade. What color shade should I get? It's going to be a black base, and silver instrument. I'm thinking a black shade. What do you think?

I have a friend who has one color in wool, the rest in acrylic, both are excellent quality. She wants to use both types in one rug. No problem hooking it, but will it look ok? Will it wear differently? Does she have to dry clean it? This is a fairly large piece for in front of the fireplace.

It was a lot like other plastic models with different designs, like cars and planes, but instead of using glue to attach the separate pieces you use a drill like tool with plastic tips that melt when pressed against the pieces and thus welds the pieces together. I thought that was a really great idea but I haven't seen anything like it for many years.

I have many 1:64 scale diecast cars such as hot wheels. johnny lightning, and matchbox cars and I'd like to create dioramas with people and buildings. I'm not sure which scale buildings would look best. Would anybody be able to post pictures of a hotwheels car besides a HO scale building and O scale building for comparison?
Thanks!

The type of hookd I am looking for are the type of hooks screwable on a plank and handgs small bags containing decals. A 3/8" hole punches in the flap. Need 100 of those hooks for now and later a larger quantity. I would settle up for something similar. Than you for your attention.
