I need to put some "footprints" on the floor of a gym for 1 week for a vacation Bible school. So I need to know what to cut them out of that will adhere to the floor so the kids won't slip on them but not damage the floor. Do you have any ideas? Thanks.

I have 2 1958 Rossevelt Dimes and for some reason, the coin counting machine at my local supermarket keeps returning them. They're in good condition, not bent or dammaged.

I threw them in with 20 other dimes and the only two returned were the ones from 1958. What makes them different?

I've been looking for cork materials (sheet, board, tile) to use as backing for a dartboard as well as to protect the surrounding wall space, but have yet to find anything that is 0.5 inch in thickness. Ideally, it is 36"x36" and thick enough that can absorb stray darts. I've tried stores like HomeDepot, Staples, Target, JoAnn, Michael's..., etc, and they only have thin ones (~1/8 inch). Any suggestions or other ideas will be much appreciated. Thanks in advance.

(BTW, my budget for it is $20-30.)

How can I tell if mine are 'up to scratch' because I have to make some to trade before I can start comparing them to other people's. I live in Cyprus and there aren't any swaps or trades over here :(

I'm looking for a hobby to start this summer, since I get bored a lot. I don't like to waste time watching tv, playing video games, etc. I read, hike, and ride my bike a lot, so I'm looking for something else. It's preferably something that I could do indoors on my free time. I also am saving my money for rent and tuition, so it would preferably be cheap. Thanks for your help!

Where do the people that sell scrapbooking stuff on ebay get it all? Is there a warehouse or something, because they get like hundreds of items per week? Does anyone know where they get it from?

I am making a quilt for my baby (girl due in oct) and have some questions.
Description: Snowball 9 patch. The focus fabric is Raggedy Ann and Andy squares. RA&A are wearing their traditional red and blue clothes, but the background fabric is pastel colors(pink, purple, yellow, orange). For the corners of the sb, I used pink polkadots. The nine patches are yellow and purple polkadots with the center square cut from the RA&A background. I am putting a pink polkadot border on it. Since there seems to be more yellow in the front, I think I am going to use the purple polkadots for the backing.

Now for the questions: What color thread should I use? maybe varigated pastel thread? Should I stitch in the ditch of all seams? Do I even have time to hand quilt it before the baby comes in October? I probably have access to a frame, but would like to take this project with me, can you tell me about lap frames? Any advice for a first time handquilter would be greatly appreciated! God Bless!

My boyfriend is looking for colored transparency overlay paper but we have had no luck in finding any. We've tried A.C. Moore (art store) and I've tried searching on ebay and the WWW. Could it possibly be called something else and does anyone know what it may be called or where we might find some? He says it's basically like the overlays they use in school except it's colored. Thanks in advance for all thoughts and suggestions!

They come in sets? Usually of flour and sugar and such. They are glass (or ceramic) and have that little metal tap flippy thing that you have to flip up to open them. What are these kids of jars called? I'd like to just get a bunch of small clear ones. Where can I get them?
