i have read somewhere that it has 90% silver content, can anyone do the math as to how much ounces each coin has?

Both types of dollars weigh 26.73 grams and are made of .900 silver and .100 copper. It has a diameter of 38.1 mm. Now to answer the question; each coin has .77344 oz. of actual silver. That is if the coin is in mint state, as it wears it looses silver content. Remember we are talking Troy ounces here, the measurement system used for precious metals.
