made a fairly large frame out of popsickle sticks and crafts store wood. so i have a shell. just what to cover it with that hols water and not clumpy so i can mold astheticly??? morter? kind?

I think you mean mortar. You can use plaster, portland cement or hupertufa, but forget about your frame. the cement and hypertufa need a mold that you can make out of a bucket of sand, and plaster of paris will need something different altogether.
