What kind of amusing ways can I count down that may make time go by a bit faster? Last time I made one of those paper link chains where each paper link represented one day. On each link I had a little task that I had to complete for that particular day. If you think that is a good idea to do again, the what kind of things could I put on the links of the chains? Or what should I do to have an amusing, and hopefully quick countdown until I can see her beautiful face again?

How about being busy? Do chores for your parents, or build a project. Your life doesn't stop just because you are waiting for something.

Why not make your chain our of pretty paper, then google quotes about love or beauty - something that reminds you of her - and add that to the chain links. Or "make" a chain link out of wooden or clay beads. Copy the quotes and print them small enough to put on the beads,then add a clear coat of varnish! You could do the same thing with love songs that you both like. Or you could decorate a wooden box and add a quote for each day you're counting down.

I am in the same situation. The waiting is hard, but so worth it. I send a text message to him every day with the number of days left before we will see each other. Something like 48 days until I can hold your hand, or 45 days until we can snuggle on the couch... the fun part is thinking of something different for each day.

Make something for her that you can give to her when you do see her again -- or write a poem, spending your time while you wait making it into an incredible epic -- or compose a song -- or some other creative act that would use your time, making it go faster, while providing her with an example of your deep feelings.

Take a trip...go visit family members that are approximately 45 mins or more away, that always works for me.
