Just google 'cross-stitch photos' for more, or look at the ads in the back of any cross-stitch magazine.

I did one of my grandparents' wedding photograph (during WW2 - they only had the one photo) some time ago and my grandmother was very emotional & happy when she saw it.

DMC do the whole thing for you, they make the pattern and give you the thread.

not sure how much it costs, but have a look at their website
