I am looking to purchase a craft kit - video or CD that would explain 1. how to do the craft; 2. have all the supplies necessary to do the craft . I need it for the assisted home I work in; just plug it in and the folks could watch it, craft at the same time and go at their own speed. The craft should be easy enough for seniors; mainly gluing, cutting, pasting, etc. Thanks for your help.

I was thinking about making my first scrapbook.

But, I'm not so certain that I like the idea of using glossy paper. Do you use glossy paper and do you like the results?

Also, when you bind the book, does part of the paper get "hiden" by the binding? For example, if you have 8x10 inch paper, does the binding hide part of the paper so that it might only be 7 or 7 1/2 inches wide?
