Where can I get blank, unpainted trays?

I'm looking for the large metal serving trays used to paint the Russian tole Zhostovo designs - tray styles such as Chippendale, oval, coffin edge, etc.

Try scouting out flea markets and estate sales - maybe you can find different sizes and shapes, though they may need a little cleaning.

Also check into restaurant or kitchen supply houses.

See if there is a restaurant supply business in your area. They have tons of great items and lots of basics like black trays. Good luck!
