i need help with this. our group tried making a boat out of only cardboat and 2 inch scotch tape. the first mistake was the weakness of the end of the boat. the second time, we did not tape it well enough and because as the people were getting in, the boat slowly caved in. so basically, what can i do to prevent the caving in and the weakness. two people in the boat. only cardboard and tape. i plan to use a box from a fridge and just cut one of the long sides of and slant the top of the box up. please, i need help and any help would be wonderful. thanks!

I just knit myself a sweater and tried it on (I'm 90% done with it) and it seems a bit big (I think this may be because I lost 5-10 pounds between starting the sweater...when I picked a size to knit...and now).

I don't want to frog and re-knit it. I'd like it to shrink but I don't want it to be felted as I'd still like the individual stitches to be distinct. Is there a way to shrink my sweater without it turning into a big block of felt? It's knit from Patons classic merino wool. (a 100% wool yarn)

**please only serious answers from people who know what they're talking about...not suggestions from people who are just hypothesising....I don't want to ruin my sweater trying something someone simply thought might be a good idea but who has no wool/shrinking/knitting experience, etc**

How much is my 1948 quarter worth? It's in good condition. It is silver and there is no mint mark.

My friends say that it is only worth $.25. I say that it has to be worth at least $.26.

Who's right?

I am going to make a beer pong table and I want to have a big design in the middle so I am going to buy the paper you print on and then Iron On to the wood. But I need to know how I stretch an image to where it will go onto like 4 sheets of paper so it will be big enough. I want it to divide the image into 4 and each print a section. How do I do that?

I have a pair of black leather sketchers I really like but a few weeks ago I spilt some acid on one of them and it ate a small dime sized hole into the surface leather on the toe of one. The hole isn't all the way through but it looks really bad because all the finish is gone in that spot. I polished them up real nice with some Kiwi black leather dye but you can still see the hole on the toe even though it's dyed black now. Is there anything else I can do to restore the leather and/or the finish to that small spot on my shoe?
