i need help with this. our group tried making a boat out of only cardboat and 2 inch scotch tape. the first mistake was the weakness of the end of the boat. the second time, we did not tape it well enough and because as the people were getting in, the boat slowly caved in. so basically, what can i do to prevent the caving in and the weakness. two people in the boat. only cardboard and tape. i plan to use a box from a fridge and just cut one of the long sides of and slant the top of the box up. please, i need help and any help would be wonderful. thanks!

Do the rules of your contest say you can only use scotch tape, and only a cardboard box? If it doesn't, I'd use a waterproof tape, and reinforce the box with cardboard tubes, and extra sheets of cardboard. Can you seal it with shrink film? I have too many questions to ask. Look at this site to see if you can use anything to help you.

Wow, I am seeing this question a lot today. I think your whole class is trying to get Yahoo Answers to do their project for them.

Go back to what youy have been learning in class. What have you learned that you can apply to this?
