I ordered wedding invitations -- on olive green cardstock with white script -- and want to do custom envelope liners (very martha stewart-esque) to bring in some pink. Which envelopes should be lined? Outer, inner, response envelope or all? Please help.

Are there any members of the sealed knot on this site? If so are there any planned meetings/performances scheduled for the west midlands this year? I've checked the web site and it states that all shows are not listed. The nearest one that is listed to me would be Northants, about 80 miles away. Anything further west?

I've got design specs to build a pirate ship out of refrigerator boxes, but they don't include a ship's wheel. Any ideas? I am thinking of attaching an old bicycle wheel to a PVC-pipe that would be stuck into an upside-down flower pot (for the base), but how to make it NOT look like a bicycle wheel? Or, any other ideas for making a ship's wheel that will really turn...

Do they originally have prices double of regular framers so they can run a 50% off sale? I brought an odd sized photo in to get custom framed, and was disspointed in their service and availability. Thinking Ill try an independent framer, but curious if Michaels is that much less

I have to blow up a model car and film it for a school project. I was wondering what the best way would be, that is not too pricy or that would require ridiculous materials.

I worked with a fairly new Singer sewing machine for several years, but when I moved, I had to get a new one. So I bought a beautiful turquoise Bel-Air at a garage sale. It's a few decades older (the man I bought it from said it was from the 50s or 60s) but he plugged it in and showed me that the pedal and needle and bobbin worked just fine.

When I try to sew with it, however, the bobbin's thread always makes these awful big loops on the bottom of the fabric that tangle up my project. I can't sew anything with it!

Here are some problems that I think might be the culprit, but I'm not sure which it is...
1. I place the bobbin so that it unwinds clockwise, with the thread coming out on the right when you pull it towards you.
2. Is my tension too high/low? I tried it with the knob on 7, 5, and 2, and all resulted in the same entanglements.

Help me, please!

This is number 2 on my list to do and I can't find ANY cylinder vases, much less 12 of them. I've checked theknot, acmoore, walmart, sears, jcp, hobby lobby, everywhere... It can't be this difficult to find these vases. They seem so popular now. Why am I having such a hard time?!

I'm making some silver jewelry and it calls for 20 gauge jump rings with an inside diameter of 3mm. Most places sell them by outside diameter measurements.

Does anyone know of a handy online conversion chart? Or a mathematical formula I could use?

Thanks in advance!
