I have to blow up a model car and film it for a school project. I was wondering what the best way would be, that is not too pricy or that would require ridiculous materials.

frist off why blow up a model car? knowing the price of model kits why not find some cheep wally world toy car to blow up waisting a model is uncool even if it is a school project

Dude fake it with pneumatics......Get a portable air tank from someone....make the model easily detachable.....blast it with the air..add sound effects, and fire later..with a blow torch or grill lighter...
