Well, the simplest way, to start, if you don't want to use the really heavy chemicals.

Use the melt and pour glycerin soap, that you can melt in your microwave.
Then add in whatever you wish, like finely ground oatmeal, which is really good for the skin or essential oils. Just do some research to find out what works well.
Then you can buy loads of mold shapes out there, even candy molds work.
Then pour your melted soap in, let it set and harden, wrap or package it in a style of your choosing and voila, you got your own soap.

go to hobby lobby or michaels arts and crafts and get the molds, colors, scents, and the bucket of soap, glycerine or white, and put in a pan, melt down, add what you like, then put in the molds.

if u are meaning fragrance there are many companies who offer soap scents and oils i fund mine through e bay under catagory hobbies and crafts then sop making supply's they are rather in expensive and one place has over a 1000 diff. kinds of dyes and frangrances.
