hey everyone. i have this project for one of my classes and somehow i need to make a fake anchor ( like on a pirate ship) i dont mind trying to figure out how to make one but i'd rather find one that either a toy or inflatable. anything would help me now..thanks

You might try party stores or websites to see if you can find one designed for pirate party decorations although oriental trading didn't seem to have any in stock right now.

Or you can find some wire hangers and make a wire anchor shaped frame. Then either cover it with layers of tin foil if a thin anchor is OK. Or wrap it with newspaper to make a thicker shape and then use paper mache kind of like you would a pinata. Once it's try paint it.

You could get a piece of styrofoam. Draw the anchor shape you like, then cut it out. Cover the anchor with paper mache, let it dry, then paint.
Would be easy and cheap!
