Hello, sorry I'm a real novice have sewed by hand all these years just wondering if sewing machines are easy to use,and how they work or how to work them.Maybe someone knows of online tutorials or books etc?

what is the best working potable sewing machine? not big machine?

I've heard there are a lot of handheld or tiny tabletop sewing machines...Just wondering which is best,cheapest and actually works. Need something to make hawaiian shirts and scrubs with but don't have a lot of space

i need information on a glaco 618-2 blind stich industrial sewing machine?

i have a glaco sewing machine mod.#618-2. i was told it is a blind stich machine. i want one that i can sew heavy materials,canvas,denim etc.i don't know anything about sewing but want to learn.need owners manual,operating manual etc. thanks in advance

Pirate crafts suitable for a children's party?

Do you have any ideas for pirate themed craft that can be made for a childs party? I'm a fairly crafty and don't mind putting in a fair amount of money.

Where can I find a fairly large skeleton print out- suitable for a childs party?

I've checked the Enchanted Learning website but in order to get the full sized print out, you have to pay.

Does anyone have any other websites where I can get a fair sized skelton print out template that you glue/tack together?

is there a washable fabric paint i can buy for use on sweat shirts (like abercrombie uses)?

I want to put lettering on a sweat shirt, but i don't want to use a tshirt transfer since they fade after a few washes. Is there a paint or something (other than that fabric paint gel my grandma uses to outline iron-on teddybears) that I can use for lettering. I want to do lettering similar to abercrombie's style- big bold lettering/numbering- that is wash machine safe and won't harm other clothes. And is it possible to do white lettering? I want to do this in house cause the silk screen shops are too far to walk to and I only want to do a couple shirts. And also where i could purchase the paint?

Myth and magic???
I'm looking for retired myth and magic items to buy for a friend for his birthday. I am after The Hobbit collection. Does anyone know of somewhere other than ebay where I could buy them? 10 points for the best answer? Please, please help. Thank you. I need a web site that sells used items to search for it as it retired in about 1991.
