where can I find cool vintage stuff like buttons and beads? I've seen tons of them on Etsy.com. Does anyone know of anywhere that I could buy them off-line?

Usually most larger towns or cities will have a beading store. They'll be able to put you in the direction you're looking for. They may even have their own that they sell. I would do a search online for your local "Beads and buttons" and that should get you started. A lot of my friends make their own antique looking beads and buttons by researching craft magazines and the like. My source lists the way I would do a search which is under "local" than input "antique beads" and you should get at least a few answers that are within 100 miles of you. Good luck!

Depending on where you live there should be places like
Michaels' Hobbies and Craft stores. The Jo-Ann stores have
beads and wires and cords for jewelry. And Hobby Lobby is
in a few states. My personal favorite is Tandy Company but
I'm not sure they are still in operation.
To find a hobby or craft store in your area use the Yahoo Yellow Pages, find closest one by your zip code.
