You can try Golden Dragon at People's Park Centre, #02-51. They sell quite a number of crafting materials such as knitting yarn, DMC threads and beading materials. I had also bought DMC threads from Fu Lu Shou basement in Bugis. However, I had forgotten the shop's name.

Michaels can have custom framing done for you. They also have a wide variety of threads. So do places like JoAnne's.

When I frame my projects on my own I basically follow these guidelines:

I don't know if they mention it but when ironing the project if you turn it upside down over some padding like a terry cloth towel you don't press out all the texture.
