What I want to do is buy an oversize sweatshirt from the guys' section at Walmart, take it to a crafty friend, and have her transform it into a dress. I've seen plenty of "hoodie dresses" online, but they appear to have been made with sweatshirt fabric, not actaully deconstructed. So I'm not sure if it's as good idea as I think it is. I looked online to see if any other people had actually done it before and I couldn't find any pictures representing my idea.

What do I need to purchase before I can knit? Any specific book you recommend to teach me how to knit?

I am very new to this (I have wanted to learn how to knit for years, but just decided I need to know) so please no fancy knit-words.

I want to start powder coating but am not sure what gun would be best to get. I am most concerned about getting a quality paint job then anything else. I am on a budget as well so if possible would like to getting a somewhat cheaper type. I will mostly be doing smaller parts so it speed does not matter for me. So any suggestions? If so then can you also tell me why I should get a certain type or brand? Like I said my concerns are quality and looks, not speed. I am not extremely knowledgeable on powder coating so any info would be great, Thanks...

I already have a yahoo answers hobby obviously so that one won't count. I draw already, read already, watch TV already, journal already. I don't do paper machete or sew already so there's two right there. As many at home hobbies you can think of would be nice. The wikipedias list didn't really have a ton of hobbies people do at home even on it. Be original.

I was looking through some collectibles when I was younger and have a Kobe Bryant Commerative Medallion from Highland Mint. Its .999 fine silver numbered out of 3,000. Was wondering if anyone knows where I can find a price guide or the name of the price guide to look up such collectibles. I am having difficulties finding any sort of information on it. Any help would be appreciated.
