Can anyone tell me how much they think a lionel train engine is worth? It's from the 1940's Code is 5690

We have a whole set with tracks but the engine I heard is what you go by. The item is very very heavy and it has a code on the side of 2035 and the symbol on the front emblem is 5690.

Try the auction site eBay and put your train set into the search bar. Up will pop the item for sale if anyone has the exact thing and they will be selling it for a certain amount. Watch the auction (they never last more than 10 days) and see if anyone buys it, and for how much. It is not a gauranteed value of the item, but you will get an idea of what is being sold and how many people are interested.
