Other - Food & Drink - March 2007

Besides getting rid of the food we really did not like. (I buy doubles of most things)
I got rid of things we had not eaten in a year. (scared to get weavels)
Now my food pantry and my freezer are about empty.
I Really could use your help with idea of what to stock up on.
I am sick of our houshold same old same old,

And yes I donated the good foods.

I live in the Fort Smith area of of Arkansas and you can't find a good breaded pork tenderlion anywhere, we eat out a lot and no body has them. I have to drive to Mo. to get one.

For some reason, I feel guilty eating a chocolate bunny. I know this sounds a bit rediculous, but everytime I eat decorated food: Gingerbread houses, Chocolate confections made into objects, or fruit shaped Marzapan, I feel like I'm destroying a work of art.

I am obsessed about finding the best foods and brands that I can reach (call me a foodie), and I hear that the majority of soy sauces are just salty, factory enhanced, artificial black water. Where can I find the REAL stuff, without all the preservatives, extra salt, etc. I would preferably like one that was made with super traditional methods...I suspect that one would taste absolutely phenomenal.

GW Carver is the man. Why is peanut butter so much better than other nuts? Actually, a peanut isn't really a nut is it? Why are peanuts not as healthy as other nuts? Why do I feel tired after I eat three peanut butter bars? Why do I crave peanut butter? Do you have any good peanut butter comments? There's definitely something special about peanut butter.
