how come they dont sell mars bars in the usa? i've seen them all over the world, but not in my home town! its owned by the same company that exhists in the usa, right? MM and mars? HELP ME! I have symptoms of whitdrawl.

They quit selling these a while ago - I think maybe 2 or 3 years ago? Instead, they sold Snickers with almonds, which were supposedly the same thing. They weren't! Now I can't find Snickers with almonds anymore either.
Mars bars were my favorite and I miss them very much!

for awhile i know in australia there was a threat of some evil terrorist puuting anthrax and all sorts of harmful **** into snickers and mars bars we didnt receive any in my country to sell for months until they could confirm that each batch of bars across the country were safe to sell to customers

I know what you mean. I looked for them, too. Maybe because almonds have gotten too expensive. Example: See's candy only used almonds and walnuts years ago, but now they only use peanuts in their prepacked boxes. You have to choose their chocolates with almonds and walnuts yourself. 'Tricky way of saving money.
