That's a surprise, Lifeboat. I was just going to bed. Seems there's still two of us left who remember! No you can't still buy it. It was all offal, so who would want to in these wealthy & "enlightened" days?
It was made of heart. liver, kidney, lites (lungs I think) and the "frill".
Ask me another about heads if you don't feel sick enough already...

Sorry, don`t know, but it reminds me of eating pigs trotters when i was young ( we was poor). there was hardly any meat on them & they made your hands & face greasy & sticky.

if you were listening to noddy holder on mark radcliffes radio programme last night they were talking about all the parts of animals they used to eat like sheeps brains on toast ,yuk
