I mean if I just remove the white filling, is it lower calories? (I know it's still not LOW calories, but is it better?)

Sure it is, but you may end up eating more of the cookies thinking it's healthy, when in the end it's still really not.

I suggest as well if you want to eat oreos with just the cookie part there's a snack thins or something that're a pack of oreos cookies that're tiny, but each pack contains only 100 calories. So it makes a good snack.

Otherwise, do what you enjoy more. If you love oreos eat them. Just make sure you set a limit ahead of time and maybe include something healthy with them so you're not eating them to feed your hunger. For example, have an apple, then set aside 10 oreos(or whatever you're allowing based on the nutritional info and your dietary intake) and some milk and enjoy. If you deprive yourself of food pleasures they'll just nag at you. Indulging now and again never hurts.

Also for added healthy-ness there's a fiber supplement that dissolves into liquids and leaves no taste(you can have it with water), I think it's called benefiber. You can add that to milk and it increases your fiber intake(much like the above mentioned apple). The higher fiber will cancel out some of the white flour in the cookies and make it more like a multigrain meal.

Eat well!

Of course it would be. That doesn't mean a lot less calories and fat, but sure removing a part lessens the impact. The cream in the middle is pretty much oil anyway. But still you get plenty of calories and fat from the outside too! It's an Oreo, if you going to have one you might as well enjoy it, for goodness sakes! Just enjoy one or two :)

Yes, but you can also buy "reduced fat" oreos. It's just a suggestion so you wont have to go through removing all the filling.

If you buy oreos you want oreos, that means you HAVE to eat the creamy junk also. Or put it in a jelly jar and frost bananas with it. That is a subsection of the EULA that is included with every Licensed Package of Oreos.
Next time buy Oatmeal Cookies.
