My origin of reference being restaurants and cafes where they're served small and whole, generally just stir-fried.

I went to the local supermarket and took a look at the Canned Vegetables. Aside from Spinach and Collard Greens, I could see NO nutritional information worth mentioning for ANY of the canned vegetables. No vitamin A, C, anything worth anything. Why do we buy them?

Ok, so I opened up my whip cream tub that I had bought since Thanksgiving, and it has two small little specks of green on it! The expiration date is 08/08/07, and I checked almost all of the thing to see if there was anymore green stuff in it, and the two specks I found on the top are the only ones in it. Is it safe to eat?

My son is now 6'4" and only 145 lbs.! He used to be quite picky about EVERYTHING, but now says that he will eat more if it's "home-cooked"! He likes spaghetti and chicken-rice casserole. Still, I must admit I HATE cooking! I was forced to cook for my family of 7 starting at age 13 and it burnt me out.

But I want my son to gain weight and eat right. Does anyone have some EASY, quick(er), but nutritious meals (favoring carbos and meat, as my kid still hates veggies) that I can try on him? He looks like Ichabod Crane!

Im trying to save some money for when i get out in a year so im trying to cut down my spending in certain areas.

This is a serious question. I have seen it listed as a fruit, but it has the word "nut" in it, so do you know what it is? is it both? is that even possible?

I'm feeling kind of bad for eating a whole slice of bread (80 calories) instead of eating a jalapeno popper (70 calories). Should I feel bad...are the poppers healthy?
