Ok, so I opened up my whip cream tub that I had bought since Thanksgiving, and it has two small little specks of green on it! The expiration date is 08/08/07, and I checked almost all of the thing to see if there was anymore green stuff in it, and the two specks I found on the top are the only ones in it. Is it safe to eat?

Cool whip does have alot of additives to keep it on the shelf(freezer/fridge) longer. It wouldn't probably hurt you but if there is green specks on it you might want to toss it to make sure. I have eaten many things from my fridge with green on it and I'm still alive. Toss it!

I wouldn't eat it... green specks are most likely mold... you have moldy whip cream and that's not too great. It might not effect you but it could also give you an nice case of food poisoning.. Unless you want to risk a night in the bathroom, don't eat it.

What kind of Whip Cream? If it's Cool Whip, I would say go ahead, since there are probably lots of preservatives in there. If it is regular whipping cream, I would say toss it. Better safe than sorry; two months would be a little long for fresh whipping cream.

No. Go get another tub of it. Better yet, buy a can of real whipped cream.

Once you open cool whip (if that's what you bought) it probably has a shelf life of one month after it has been opened. So, probably best to toss it.

Well, it won't kill you, but I wouldn't eat it. Did you have it in the freezer? It should remain frozen until ready to eat. If it has been in the fridge, definitely throw it out!
