Drink lots of water. Have a glass before you eat, it will make you feel more full. When you go shopping, spend most of your time in the produce and meat sections. Pay attention to what goes ino the products you buy. Try not to buy stuff too deviated from it's natural state, or loaded with things you can't pronounce. Also get some good spices, since they are a low calorie way to add flavor.

Try eating locally {organic when possible) grown fruits and vegetables. (there's generally farmer's markets in most areas or stands at least)That way you get the freshest produce. In times when the selection of produce isn't great or too pricey organic fresh frozen is a better option. If this isn't an option buy what's in season wherever you purchase you're produce. Eat whole grain breads and pasta. Try a sweet potato over white or yellow. Check labels on pre-packaged grocery items. Look for all natural ingredients when possible, if not at least make sure you stay away from artificial sweeteners, High Fructose corn syrup, and transfats. Also its never a good sign when the chemicals, oils, and sugars appear on the list of ingredients before the natural ones. I eat variety of soy products as my main source of protein so I'm not up on the meats. I have heard hormone free farmed raised is your best bet though- if you eat meat I don't know.
Goodluck and I hope you find a healthier you!

The best advice I can give you is to watch your saturated fat intake, but you probably know that. Always use Olive oil, and Olive oil spread for cooking. No more butter or margarine. Olive oil and spread tastes great, and is healthy. Also, you can still have fried foods, if you like, because you're cutting out the fat. For example, I love fried potatoes, and grilled cheese sandwiches. So, I substitute olive oil spread on the potatoes and grilled cheese. About the grilled cheese sandwiches...it's best to use soy cheese, rather than "real" cheese, and use high fiber whole wheat bread. I have lots of suggestions, but it's been a late night! Sorry! I hope this will help you. All the best!

One way to start is to start drinking a bottled water that has a high pH and a low mineral content. The best one out there is Iceland Pure. You can get it at Walgreens in the states. The water helps you keep a balanced pH which helps fight off diseases and viruses.

Eat "Real" food. This will give your body what it needs. What I mean is: If you read the label on any store bought food, you should be able to identify every item listed as an ingredient. Eat whole foods. Eat real food, and you will be doing a good thing for your body.

I would eat maybe some veggies and probably go on walks and run a mile or two. I think you should go to the gym and do some sittups and push ups and to just not sit on your coach all day.
