Hi, I just ordered some haddock or cod (I don't know what it is -- the menu said "scrod" but I know that scrod simply means either haddock or cod since scrod isn't an acutal fish). Anyway, it has lots of skinny, squiggley little brown things in it -- are those worms or veins? And no, I'm not kidding so I'd appreciate serious answers please. Thanks so much! I'm afraid to eat it!

The package was sealed and in the fridge. It seemed to darken, but had no obious bad smell when I opened it. It was very bloody though, on the wrapping and the inside. Is this normal (I don't eat beef, making a dish for a friend). Is it safe to eat?

I made Jello shots for my pre-party New Year's Eve, but we did not go through the whole tray--my guests didn't want to be completely plastered before the real event.

I've tried doing it with fresh tagerines when making a fruit salad and have never managed it without damaging the flesh, however tinned tangerines seem to have been perfectly skinned.

If I peeled a large batch of potatoes and chopped them, could I freeze them raw then use them for mashing sometime later? Or would I be better to cook and mash them first, then freeze them? Or do potatoes not freeze very well????

It doesn't seem to happen to me with any other food. I like cheese and cornflakes just as much but don't feel compelled to eat them if they're mentioned.
Why does only chocolate have this effect? Even the same colour purple as a Cadbury's wrapper will set my taste buds off.

I do not tend to have sinus problems but whenever I eat a hot bowl of soup or drink a hot cup of tea my nose will run. The same goes for anything spicy whethers its hot or cold. Why?
