Each cake or pastry is named after a movie that corresponds with it in one way or another. Would this attract you as a potential customer to see what was going on there or would folks be too weirded out by the concept?

I think that sounds very cute, actually.
To tell you the truth, I work for a girl who recently opened up her own bakery, and, she has themed cakes, and I'll tell you what, they aren't nice looking at all in my opinion, but people LOVE them because of the cute themes. So I think that is a strong point for sure. If you have the talent to make it, I think this is a great idea!

Might work but you would have to offer varieties that people would really get into not just the movie concept. Considering how people are on low carb kick etc. You might also have to clear using the names with some sort of copywrtite thing.

It wouldn't affect me at all. If I need bread, I'll stop and get some. If I need a cake, I'll stop and get one. I don't care what it's called.
