It is very popular in the UK and there are many flavours available. Ice cream came to the USA in the 18th century from England.

Yes it is very popular and, I believe that the flavor of Cornish dairy is the most popular being favored more than vanilla. It is A rich golden color and has a heavy rich creamy texture, a favorite of mine when I lived there for 17 yrs.
