At work there are often peanut-butter stains in the toilet. The other day I tasted one, and it didn't taste anything like peanut-butter. Does anyone know what this weird stuff is?

I'm hungry and don't have anything else in the fridge besides a carton of eggs with a sell by date of Oct 12. That's over a month!!! I'm just curious because I put them in a big bowl of cold water and they sank to the bottom, but standing on their points. But not floating. I don't know, I'm really iffy about it though. How long do eggs really last? There's no way they can be good after a month.

With the holiday season coming up fast, i'm wanting to send some baked goods through the mail to someone for the holidays. I've never sent any kind of food through the mail, so what i'm wondering is how should I package the stuff to keep it from spoiling and looking mangled by the time it arrives at it's destination? I've been cooking for years, so I feel silly asking this question. I guess what I want to know is, is rinsing broccoli, celery, bell peppers, etc under warm tap water before storing them in zip lock bags in the crisper sufficient? Or do I need to go all out and get the special vegetable wash and a scrubbing tool?
