I'm under the impression that if you have some frozen bacon, thaw it in the microwave, cook a couple pieces and put the rest of the pack in the fridge, the rest will all quickly go bad because the microwave partially cooked them.
Because of this, whenever I thaw some bacon in the microwave, I fry up the whole pack. Unfortunately, there's so much that much of it often goes to waste.
Am I doing things right? Can I just take the thawed pack and put it in the fridge without worries?
