How does American food compare to food from other cultures or countries? I know this is a pretty broad question. But I'd like other's opinions on, for example, the quality of American food, taste, what's considered "traditional" in America as compared to other places.

I am going on a boat for 9 days and we plan on getting live lobster from some of the fishermen on an island. We plan on trading stuff for the lobster. My question is how do you prepare and store the lobster to eat down the road. Can we just snap the tails off and freeze them or do we have to pare boil them first before freezing them. We don't have a large pot to boil the entire lobsters. We are looking at getting about 25 of them.

Anyone know exactly what stores in north GA and/or Atlanta carry "Jennie-O" brand of whole turkeys? Their website says you have to call each individual store to find out (ugh!). Also, anyone ever HAD a Jennie-O whole turkey? Their ads say the turkeys come in a "fool-proof" bag, all you do is take them from the freezer, pop them in the oven for 4 hrs, while still in the bag and they come out tender. I'm trying to avoid the prep/knowledge involved in cooking a turkey and avoid the costs of buying one that's already cooked and therefore ridiclously priced (like Heavenly Ham is). If not Jenny-O anyone know something similar to what I need? It's to feed a family of 6. Thank you!

If so, What is it? Describe it the way you picture it as you think about it. The goal is to get the other users to crave that same food.
Me: McDonald's Chicken Selects
Crispy, tender, juicy chicken dipped in zesty buffalo sauce with a sweet McFlurry with crunchy M&Ms swirled inside.
Your turn!
