I live outside Atlanta and we just got a Trader Joes. It opened yesterday I think. I haven't been there yet and I was wondering what it's like. I know they have cheap wine but what else do they have? What kind of food? Is it organic or healthy food or what? Why is everyone so excited about it?

One of my friends is holding a Thanksgiving dinner tomorrow. While we were talking about this dinner two weeks ago, he mentioned that he had "smuggled" the turkey into the country when he got back from his vacation in the States in JULY. So all this time that frozen turkey has been sitting in his freezer. It's been FOUR MONTHS.

I'm having second thoughts about coming to this T-day dinner because of this turkey. I don't think it's safe to eat.

What are your opinions on this?

Ever since I was a little girl, I just haven't liked the taste. I WANT to like them. I can eat them in small amounts or mixed in a cooked recipe, but other than that, I just don't like them. I thought my taste buds would have developed a likeness for them by now.

Avoiding Wheat Gluten Dairy & Egg White would be ok - but avoiding Rice ( which it seems MOST alternatives to the above contain) seems impossible!

ANyone else who has similar intolerances? Advice on where to shop & which products best?
