I'm digging through my Mom's junk mail and there's this holiday food catalogue from Harry & David, and I've never heard of a Royal Riviera Pear and they insist they're America's Rarest and Finest Pears, and I'm wondering if there story checks out.

Yes, that is indeed too much money for five pounds of pears.
You can buy twenty-seven bean burritos at Taco Bell instead.

You should buy one of my Pecans pies, it only $15 plus $25 next day delivery. Heck, it still be warm from the oven when you get it.
OK, I not sell my Pecan Pies, just give them to some of the Elderly around.
The Shipping sounds high to me and I bet the product price not cheap. But, I have seen similar Gift things like this and everything seem high. It good for people that want to send a nice looking Fruit Basket to someone and it easy, so, they charge for this. A good example is Flowers, pay more for a nice looking flower arrangement or go to Wal-Wort and buy something similar for a lot less. I would not get something like this for myself, I can probably find the Pears local somewhere, just not packaged as well. Now if a friend across the country was in the Hospital, I may spring for this to be sent to them. Hope you see what I try to say.
