Hello,

The other day I made a think of rice. Once I sat down and was ready to eat. I noticed these little dark round balls that had spikes coming out of them, at first I thought it was some kinda bugs. Now when I look it appears to be some kinda chrystals growning in the soy sauce??? Has any one else ran into this before? I took a picture and here is the link

Thanks

Mike

...But I cant think of any thing apart from one huge guinness world record beating donut I could place it in the center of the table cover it in syrup and stuff it with peanut butter.
Would they prefer that or my wifes french cuisine? I hope they can get through the door without splintering the door frame. or tearing their custom made elastic waisted jeans.

English Below the Spanish:

Estoy buscando la receta como hacen el pollo BBQ que se ven durante los fines de semanas en el estaciónamentos de los supermercados Vallarta de California. ¿Cual condimentos usan y todo? También quiero saber la receta de su Horchata de Vallarta.

Vallarta supermarkets in California do a fantastic Mexican BBQ chicken that they sell on weekends in their parking lots. Does anyone know the recipe or what spices they use in whatever they coat the chicken with before going onto the grill? I'd also like to know the Vallarta recipe for their Horchata.

I love Mexican food, but it seems like most Mexican dishes are high in fat and calories. They contain a lot of cheese, fried food, and rich salsas. It also seems like the only vegatables in Mexican food are corn (which is not really a vegatable), and hot peppers. Are there ant Mexican dishes that are healthy? Are there any ones that contain green vegatables, like broccoli, green breans, or spinach?
If not how to mexicans manage to get the proper nutrition?

It is a really hot, sour mash of fish and spices, usually eaten on crackers. I tried it on a vacation and loved it. Anyways, I have a recipe which calls the use of a fish called "Corvina." Does anyone know what it would be called in English? Does anyone know where it could be found?

I recently got "The Silver Spoon" and I absolutely love it! Some say it's the Italian couterpart of "The Joy of Cooking", which is the bible of American cuisine.

I'm Chinese and I gotta say between the 1.3 billion of us, we haven't been able to sit down together to agree on a good cookbook like those. I use (Mrs. Fong) Lisa Yam's collection. I strongly recommend them. They all come in both Chinese and English with pictures for each dish, some popular ones even come with Japanese, Korean or Tagalog.

Which is the best cookbook for your cuisine? I wish to find a good cookbook for Japanese, Indian, Mexican... Any suggestions?

hey their are alot of good people on here and alot of people that just get on here to be rude dont pay any attention to any of it, personally im fascinated by all asian cultures and hope to one day visit china and japan and to all the people saying all chinese people eat dog you need to learn more about other cultures, i know korea serves dog its called bergogi and i myself havent tried it but ive heard its actually quite good and there are many many cultures that serve what some would call bizzare foods but most of them are considered delicacies and arent eaten all the time or by many people some of which are, a cheese wheel that has maggots in it, bats, dog fetus, insects, cat, goat duck fetus, intestines, chicken feet, pig feet, algae powder paste and other variations, all of these foods in one way or another have very important nutrients that the body needs and not every place has a big selection of where to get those nutrients
